How many questions does the rural guard exam have?
Sixty scored questions plus three reserve ones, with sixty-three minutes to answer them: 63 questions in 63 minutes, one minute each.
Do wrong answers subtract marks?
No. The paper is marked at one point per correct answer and wrong answers subtract nothing. Since a blank costs exactly as much as a mistake, in this exam it pays to answer all sixty.
What are the three reserve questions for?
You answer them like the rest, but they only count towards your mark if the board annuls one of the scored questions, and they are applied in order.
What is the pass mark?
Thirty out of sixty, half the points. Some summary pages describe it as “5 out of 10”; the threshold is the same, but the published rules count in points rather than on a ten-point scale.
Is there a physical test?
Yes. There are two eliminatory tests in order: the knowledge paper first, then physical aptitude. The app prepares the first one.
Does it work for the game-keeper and sea-fishery specialities?
The app is built on the rural guard paper of 60 questions. The specialities have their own shorter paper — 20 questions, 21 minutes, pass from 10 — and share much of the general syllabus, so the bank is a solid base while the mock reproduces the rural guard exam.
