A driver is a person who operates the steering mechanism of a vehicle or is in control of it. In vehicles used for driving practice, the driver is the person in charge of the dual controls, that is, the driving instructor. A person walking and pushing a motorcycle is also considered a driver. On the other hand, a person walking and pushing a cycle or a two-wheeled moped is considered a pedestrian.
