Spanish rules (General Driver Regulations) say that people with a valid class B licence held for more than three years may ride, within Spain, the motorcycles that the class A1 licence allows (maximum engine capacity 125 cm³, maximum power 11 kW). Before the licence has been held for 3 years, the B licence does not count as an A1.
