Under Article 15.6 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC), a load that sticks out beyond the rear of the vehicle must be marked with sign V-20, placed at the rear end of the load. Between sunset and sunrise, or when visibility is poor, a red light is also required. This applies to both goods vehicles and cars.
