Under Annex III of the General Vehicle Regulations (RGV), quadricycles with bodywork that fully or partly encloses the driver must have an interior mirror and a left-hand exterior mirror; the right-hand one is optional. If the interior mirror does not give enough visibility, the right-hand exterior mirror becomes compulsory.
