Explanation
The rear fog light should only be switched on when conditions are particularly unfavourable, such as thick fog, very heavy rain, heavy snowfall or dense clouds of dust or smoke. In light fog it would dazzle and disturb those behind (Article 106.2 of the General Traffic Regulations).
