How should you drive on a motorway (autopista)?

All drivers must respect the speed limits; on motorways (autopistas) and dual carriageways (autovías) the limit is 120 km/h. You must also take into account the characteristics and condition of the road, the weather, environmental and traffic conditions and, in general, all the circumstances at any given moment, in order to adapt the vehicle's speed to them, so that you can always stop within your field of vision and in front of any obstacle that may appear.
