Correct answer

  • BNo.No.
Explanation

The class B licence allows you to drive motor cars with a maximum authorised mass of no more than 3,500 kg and no more than nine seats, including the driver's. Within Spain, once the licence has been held for more than two years, you may also drive goods vehicles without a trailer powered by alternative fuels with a maximum authorised mass over 3,500 kg but not over 4,250 kg, as long as the mass above 3,500 kg comes only from the extra mass of the propulsion system and the load capacity is not increased compared with the same vehicle. (Alternative fuels: electricity, hydrogen, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), etc.) If these requirements are not met and you want to drive a vehicle with a MAM over 3,500 kg, you will need the class C1 or C licence, and if it has more than 9 seats, the D1 or D licence.
