According to Article 12.3 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC), as worded by RD 518/2026, motorcycles, three-wheeled vehicles and mopeds may tow a trailer or semi-trailer of no more than 50 % of the unladen mass of the towing vehicle, travelling during the day and in conditions that do not reduce visibility, with speed reduced by 10 % and without carrying people in the towed vehicle.
