When approaching a narrow section, depending on the side we come from, we may find one of two signs. The first, the one in the question, shows that oncoming traffic has priority and prohibits us from entering the narrow section until we can get through it without making oncoming vehicles stop. The second would show that we have right of way over oncoming vehicles.
