Explanation
Motorcycles may not ride side by side. Under Article 36.2 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) (as worded by RD 518/2026), of the vehicles that use the hard shoulder, only bicycles may ride two abreast; mopeds may not. Even on stretches of hard shoulder opened for motorcycles (Article 36.3), riding is only allowed in single file.
