If we are driving at an abnormally low speed on a motorway (autopista), that is, below 60 km/h, we must leave it at the nearest exit. Vehicles with a MAM of no more than 3,500 kg that, because of an emergency, are driving at an abnormally low speed and seriously disrupting traffic must drive on the hard shoulder. If they are not disrupting traffic, they drive on the carriageway.
