If a police vehicle on an emergency call is behind you and switches on a forward-facing flashing red light, what should you do?

Article 69.2 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) states that, if the police vehicle positions itself behind you and switches on a forward-facing flashing red light, the driver must stop carefully on the right-hand side, in front of the police vehicle, and stay inside, following the officer's instructions.
