Road users must obey the signals of the traffic lights and road signs placed immediately to their right, above the carriageway or above their lane and, if there are none in those positions and they intend to turn left or go straight on, those placed immediately to their left. If there are traffic lights or road signs showing different instructions on the right and on the left, those who intend to turn left or go straight on must only obey the ones immediately to their left.
