Explanation
Under Article 85.4 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC), as worded by RD 518/2026, when overtaking cyclists you must take special care with the manoeuvre and leave at least 1.5 metres; a bicycle carrying a passenger is less stable and it is not a good idea to surprise the cyclist with the horn.
