The 'mouth-to-mouth-and-nose' method is the most suitable for artificial respiration in babies. Babies have smaller, more delicate airways. By covering the baby's mouth and nose with their own mouth, the rescuer makes sure the air reaches the baby's lungs more effectively. This method stops air escaping and makes artificial respiration as effective as possible.
