Explanation
Under Article 85.4 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) (as worded by RD 518/2026), when overtaking a moped you must leave a safety gap of at least 1.5 metres. Outside built-up areas, you must also reduce your speed by at least 20 km/h below the road's speed limit.
