Correct answer
- BNo.No.
According to Article 118.4 of the General Traffic Regulations (as worded by RD 518/2026), the vest must be worn by drivers of motorcycles, cars, buses, goods vehicles, mixed-use vehicles and non-agricultural vehicle combinations when they get out of the vehicle and are on the carriageway or hard shoulder of roads outside built-up areas. The obligation is on the driver: only one vest is compulsory, and a vest for the passenger is optional.
