In a roadworks area where the carriageway narrows, which vehicle has right of way if there is no sign to say so?

On narrow stretches, including those at roadworks, where two vehicles going in opposite directions cannot pass at the same time and there are no signs, right of way goes to the one that entered first (Article 60.1 of the General Traffic Regulations). If in doubt, it goes to the one that has more difficulty manoeuvring (Article 62).
