Correct answer
- BSí, en caso de que el silenciador no esté homologado o no esté en buen estado.Yes, if the silencer is not approved or is not in good condition.
Article 7.2 of the General Traffic Regulations prohibits driving when the exhaust gases, instead of going through an effective silencer, come out through an incomplete, unsuitable or damaged one. So an officer can report a silencer that is not approved or is in poor condition, and can even immobilise the motorcycle if it exceeds the noise levels.
