During the day, dipped headlights must be on for motorcycles on any road, inside or outside built-up areas, and for all vehicles driving in: - a reversible lane; - a temporary additional lane, and also vehicles driving on the hard shoulder; - a lane opened for traffic in the opposite direction to normal, whether the lane is reserved only for them or opened to traffic in that direction as an exception; - a lane with the normal direction of traffic next to a lane opened for traffic in the opposite direction to normal; - when driving through tunnels, underpasses or stretches marked with the 'Tunnel' sign. In addition, when driving on any type of road in conditions where visibility is much lower than normal, such as fog, heavy rain, snowfall, clouds of smoke or dust or any similar situation, dipped headlights must also be used.
