Correct answer

  • ANo.No.
Explanation

As a general rule, the following may use the BUS-HOV (BUS-VAO) lane: two- or three-wheeled motorcycles, cars, buses with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) of more than 3,500 kg, articulated buses, and adaptable mixed-use vehicles, with the number of occupants set for each stretch. All other vehicles and combinations of vehicles are prohibited, including cars with a trailer, cycles and mopeds. However, the lane may also be used, even with only the driver on board, by: authorised types of vehicle displaying the V-15 sign (reduced mobility badge); two- or three-wheeled motorcycles; buses with a MAM of more than 3,500 kg and articulated buses; vehicles classed as taxis under the use criterion in Annex II of the General Vehicle Regulations, with an external roof light and a valid taxi licence; police, fire, civil protection, rescue and ambulance vehicles on an emergency call, and maintenance crews for the road and its facilities. Vehicles with environmental labels (ZERO, ECO, B and C) may use the BUS-HOV lane only when road signs say so.
