Correct answer

  • CPuede hacerlo sin ocasionar peligro a otros usuarios de la vía, ayudándose de las indicaciones de otras personas, si es necesario. You can do it without endangering other road users, with the help of another person's directions if necessary.
Explanation

Vehicles are designed to move forwards. When reversing, the driver usually does not have a good view of the outside. For this reason, the driver must make sure that there is no danger or obstacle in the way, with the help, if necessary, of another person giving directions. As a general rule, reversing is prohibited, except in the following cases, exceptionally and always over the shortest distance necessary: 1. As a manoeuvre that is part of stopping, parking or moving off into traffic. In this case you may not reverse more than 15 metres or enter a junction. 2. When it is not possible to go forwards, turn or make a U-turn. In this case there is no limit on the reversing distance, and you may even enter a junction if necessary. Reversing is prohibited on dual carriageways (autovías) and motorways (autopistas).
