Fitting and using a rear fog light is compulsory. It must only be on when the weather or environmental conditions are especially unfavourable, such as thick fog, very heavy rain, heavy snowfall or dense clouds of dust or smoke. It is used together with the position lights and also with dipped headlights, main beam or the front fog light. The rear fog light can be switched off independently of the other lights.
