Explanation

AEBS, or the automatic emergency braking system, works when the driver is distracted and there is a risk of a rear-end collision. The system can detect imminent danger and act in two ways: it gives the driver a warning (visual/audible) and, if the driver ignores it, it takes control of the vehicle to stop it with emergency braking.
