If we are driving on a one-way road and find a pedestrian refuge in the middle of the carriageway, which side should we pass it on?

As a general rule, refuges and traffic islands are passed on the right. But if they are on a one-way road, or within the part of the road used by one direction only, they may be passed on either side, because you do not enter the opposite direction of traffic (Article 43 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC)).
