When the carriageway has three or more lanes in their direction, combinations of vehicles more than 7 metres long must normally drive in the lane furthest to the right. They may use the next lane when traffic or road conditions make it advisable, as long as they do not obstruct vehicles behind them. They may not use the third lane.
