Compulsory stop (STOP): every driver must stop the vehicle at the next stop line or, if there is none, immediately before the junction, and give way there to vehicles travelling on the road being approached. If, in exceptional circumstances, there is not enough visibility from the place where the driver stopped, the driver must stop again at a place from which there is visibility, without endangering any road user.
