Explanation
Under Annex XII of the General Vehicle Regulations, a car's compulsory equipment includes the V-16 hazard warning light, together with the reflective vest and the spare wheel or an alternative system. Since 1 January 2026, warning triangles are no longer valid in place of the V-16.
