Explanation

On roads outside built-up areas, between sunset and sunrise or in poor visibility, cyclists must wear, in addition to lights, at least one reflective or luminous item visible from 150 metres (Article 118 of the General Traffic Regulations). A helmet is compulsory, but it is not enough.
