EBD (Emergency Braking Display), or emergency braking warning, helps drivers detect when the vehicle in front is braking in an emergency. This avoids or reduces rear-end collisions caused by unexpected braking. The emergency braking warning is a quick flashing of the brake lights when the brakes are applied hard and fast in an emergency.
