The V-16 hazard warning device is an amber-yellow device with its own power supply (batteries). It must be placed on the highest point of the immobilised vehicle, to make it as visible as possible. Today the V-16 is the only legal way to signal an immobilised vehicle or an obstacle on the road. Warning triangles are no longer used.
