On carriageways in built-up areas with at least two lanes reserved for the same direction and marked by longitudinal lines, drivers of lorries with a maximum authorised mass over 3,500 kg may use the lane that best suits their destination. However, they must not leave that lane except to get ready to change direction, overtake, stop or park.
