Explanation
Under Article 119.1 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC), all drivers may drive without a seat belt when reversing or parking, on any type of road. Since RD 518/2026 (Art. 119.2), taxi drivers are no longer exempt in built-up areas; that exemption now applies only to vehicles on an emergency call.
