Under Article 12.3 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) (as worded by RD 518/2026), motorcycles, three-wheeled vehicles and mopeds may tow a trailer or semi-trailer that does not exceed 50% of the towing vehicle's unladen mass, travelling in daylight and in conditions that do not reduce visibility, with their speed reduced by 10% and without carrying people in the towed vehicle.
