Correct answer
- BA ceder el paso a todos los vehículos que circulen por la vía preferente. You must give way to all vehicles on the priority road.
The sign in the question requires every driver to give way at the next junction to vehicles on the road they are approaching or in the lane they intend to join, from both the right and the left. The sign that requires you to stop is the “compulsory stop” or “STOP” sign. The difference between give way and STOP is that at a STOP sign you must always stop, even if no vehicles are coming, whereas with give way this is not necessary.
