Article 101.1 of the General Traffic Regulations requires every motor vehicle driving through a sufficiently lit tunnel, at any time of day, to have its dipped (short-range) headlights on as well as its sidelights. Sidelights alone are not enough, and the tunnel lighting does not exempt you from switching on your lights.
