Explanation

On conventional roads, the general limit for cars and motorcycles is 90 km/h, whatever the hard shoulder is like, and it may not be exceeded to overtake (Article 48.1.a of the General Traffic Regulations, RGC). The old 100 km/h limit for roads with a 1.5-metre hard shoulder was abolished in 2019.
