Explanation

If we are travelling at an abnormally low speed on a motorway (autopista), that is, below 60 km/h, we must leave it at the nearest exit. Vehicles with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) of no more than 3,500 kg that, because of an emergency, travel at an abnormally low speed and seriously disrupt traffic must use the hard shoulder. If they do not disrupt traffic, they must use the carriageway.
