Correct answer
- CPorque su menor estatura y la falta de madurez de su sistema auditivo influyen en su percepción del tráfico.Because being shorter and having immature hearing affects how they perceive traffic.
Children, especially between 6 and 10, have not yet fully developed their physical and sensory abilities. Being shorter makes it harder for them to see and be seen between vehicles, and it reduces their field of vision. Also, their hearing is still immature, so they cannot tell exactly where traffic sounds come from or how fast vehicles are moving. Because of these limits, their perception of traffic is incomplete. This increases the risk of accidents, above all in towns, where traffic is denser and more complex.
