Loading and unloading must be done off the road. In exceptional cases, when it cannot be avoided on the road, it must be done without causing danger or serious disruption to other road users, and following these rules: respect the rules on stopping and parking and, in built-up areas, the local authority's rules on suitable times and places; do it, where possible, from the side of the vehicle nearest the edge of the carriageway; use enough means to do it as quickly as possible, trying to avoid unnecessary noise and disturbance. It is forbidden to leave goods on the carriageway, the hard shoulder or pedestrian areas.
