Correct answer
- ANo, están exentos de llevarlo tanto el conductor como los pasajerosNo, both the driver and the passengers are exempt
The driver and passengers of vehicles on an emergency call, such as an ambulance, are exempt from wearing a seat belt when driving in built-up areas. The exemption does not apply on motorways (autopistas), dual carriageways (autovías) or conventional roads (Article 119 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC)).
