Correct answer
- A100 metros como mínimo.At least 100 metres.
The safe distance is the space that allows you to stop without hitting the vehicle in front if it brakes suddenly, taking into account speed, grip and braking conditions. Also, if we do not intend to overtake, we must leave room for the vehicle behind to overtake us. In tunnels and underpasses we must keep a safe distance of at least 100 metres or 4 seconds from the vehicle in front. Vehicles with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) over 3,500 kg: 150 metres or 6 seconds.
