Under Article 86.1 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC), if the driver of a heavy vehicle cannot keep fully to the right-hand edge but overtaking can be done safely, they show this by extending their arm horizontally and moving it repeatedly from back to front, or with the right indicator. The left indicator announces a move to the left.
