According to Article 12.3 of the General Traffic Regulations (as worded by RD 518/2026), motorcycles, three-wheeled vehicles and mopeds may tow a trailer or semi-trailer that does not exceed 50% of the towing vehicle's unladen mass. They must travel during the day and in conditions that do not reduce visibility, at a speed reduced by 10%, and without carrying people in the towed vehicle.
