Correct answer
- AAnticiparnos a las reacciones del niño: reducir la velocidad e incluso detenernos.Anticipate the child's reactions: reduce speed and even stop.
Article 46.1.a of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) requires you to drive at a moderate speed and, if necessary, stop when there are pedestrians on the carriageway, especially if they are children. Their reactions are unpredictable, so you must anticipate them; sounding the horn at the child may frighten them and make the situation worse.
