Correct answer
- CPara no verse obligado a seguir una dirección que no conviene a su destinoSo as not to be forced to go in a direction that does not suit their destination
The driver should watch these signals in order to anticipate and choose the right lane for their destination. Additional arrows (usually green on a black background) allow you to go in the direction shown. If a driver gets into a lane controlled by one of these arrows and it lights up, they could be forced to turn in that direction (even if they do not want to) if they are blocking other vehicles behind them. So watching for them helps you avoid being forced to go in a direction that does not suit your destination.
