The traffic authority states that a vehicle is travelling at a suitable speed when that speed allows us to control the vehicle in the face of any obstacle or unexpected event. This suitable speed is not based only on the limits shown by signs; the conditions of the road, of our vehicle and our own condition must also be taken into account. So we drive at a suitable speed when we adapt it to the conditions of the moment: driver, vehicle and environment.
