As a general rule, loading and unloading must be done off the road. If it is essential to do it on the road, these rules must be followed: - If possible, do it from the side of the vehicle nearest the edge of the carriageway. - Follow the rules on stopping and parking and, in built-up areas, any rules on times and places. - Putting goods on the carriageway, hard shoulder or pedestrian areas is prohibited. - Use the necessary means to do it quickly, avoiding danger, noise and unnecessary nuisance.
