In traffic, we do not all have the same probability of having an accident. Some population groups, because of their characteristics, are more likely to have an accident, and so they are called vulnerable groups. These groups include young drivers, moped and motorcycle riders, cyclists, pedestrians, older people both as drivers and as pedestrians, and children.
